Best Flashlight on Earth!I purchased a SureFire M2 at a gun show and it’s been the brightest and most durable flashlight I have ever used. It is possibly the best flashlight on earth! I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I recently lost my M2 on a turkey hunting trip and am looking for another one. This flashlight is brighter than any mag light. Thank you! Big Game Hunter in AfricaI operate a hunting safari company in Tanzania and the following occurred last year: Idrissa, my first tracker, first looked with contempt at the small SureFire flashlight I produced after the Norwegian client had managed to wound a large male Leopard at less than ten steps! Daylight was quickly dwindling and we were faced with the unpleasant task of finding the cat before the Hyenas made mincemeat of the magnificent trophy. Blood was easily spotted thanks to the blue lens and, even though sparse, Idrissa had no problem following the trail for the first hundred yards or so. The blood trail became less and less evident only to stop completely after some time; both Idrissa and I were at a loss as to where the Leopard had been hit. On hand and knees we followed the faint tracks into very dense undergrowth -- Idrissa handling the SureFire while I held on to my trusted Beretta P1200, a semi automatic shotgun I had used for years and which had never failed me in tight spots. It is actually like an extended part of me, and many are the infuriated Tunisian Wild Boars that have bitten the dust after determined charges! A wounded North African Boar is much faster than any of the other African animals considered potentially dangerous, and they will always charge after being wounded! Suddenly we were growled at from somewhere in front -- but no charge! We continued the follow-up and soon we heard the Leopard moving through dead leaves some ten yards in front of us. I told Idrissa to change to the red lens -- I thought this might be a good time to try its ability to not disturb the animal. I thought I might get a shot without first provoking a charge. Very soon, we discovered the cat lying flat amongst the leaves facing the pursuers and before it realized that we had discovered it, a charge of 00 buckshot hit it squarely in the head! Happy client, happy tracker, happy professional hunter. Thank you SureFire! I will soon acquire another flashlight for extensive use in Tunisia where I run a Wild Boar Hunting operation since more than 30 years! |
Face to Face with a Cobra in IndiaYou don't own a SureFire, it owns you. I feel very secure on my night fishing trips with SureFire around. One time I can never forget I was returning from my fishing trip to the camp and it was pitch dark. I could hear a loud breathing sound coming from nearby. I looked around with my SureFire and saw a giant cobra snake. I saw the cobra staring me in the face. I could see its colors clearly. In a fraction of a second it disappeared into the bushes. I’m sure the SureFire scared the snake away and saved my life that night. I can only say that SureFire is handy, durable and the most powerful flashlight in its class that I’ve ever come across. Thank you SureFire! Junaid F., Fisherman, Hyderabad, India |
Wild Boar Hunting in HungaryI use my SureFire flashlight model 9AN for my wild boar hunting trips in Hungary. Shooting up to 100 yards is no problem with this flashlight and the Hungarian hunting guides are always extremely surprised by the size of this powerful light. I already had to leave two flashlights with my hunting friends, because they can not get them there. Albert T., Bruck, Austria |
Handy for HuntingWhen I go hunting in the late afternoons, I always pop my SureFire 6P in my back pocket or pack. It has come in handy many a time when I've stayed out a bit later than planned. The 6P is by far the most handy and powerful flashlight I've ever had. Gary N., Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia |
When You Need Flies by NightI use my SureFire when I fly fish. It’s easy to carry and use when I tie on flies at night, and also to search my fly box for the right fly. My wife has a SureFire by her night table and another one in the car. Ivar A., Sag Harbor, NY, United States |
Chasing KangaroosI got a SureFire 6P flashlight. It's really good and bright. I use it for everything, like the last time I went hunting. My friend had a sport light on his car and we were chasing kangaroos. My SureFire light seemed as strong as his 100W sport light! That was amazing!! And really useful. If you have one of these flashlights, I guarantee you will love it and want another one! Tat Man C., Sydney, Australia |
Bow hunting feral hogsLet me start out by saying it is legal to hunt feral hogs at night in Texas. A group of us enjoy bow hunting feral hogs and true to their nature the hogs are most active at night. When stalking hogs in the dark, some form of light is necessary both to let you make an accurate shot and to keep you from tripping over cactus or the occasional rattlesnake. Many different lights have been tried with mixed results. They were usually either too dim, to large or too fragile. Two years ago I read an article about tactical lights and decided if a light could be mounted on a shotgun then why not on a bow. I bought a Surefire model 9P and a pressure switch. I attached it to a bow stabilizer using a set of 1 inch rifle scope rings. With it screwed into the stabilizer hole on the front of my bow and the switch attached to the front of the handle with Velcro, I can see well enough to take shots up to 40 yards even with a red filter on the light. This has become the standard against which ! all other hunting lights are compared. Robert W. Temple, TX |
