SureFire Torches and Flashlights

Outdoors, 4x4 and Game Viewing

Night-time game viewing at 40 meters with SureFire.

As the owner of a house bordering a game farm I have the opportunity to view game from my patio facing the farm. The animals tend to often walk down the firebreak running next to the game fence rather than fight their way through the undergrowth. It becomes frustrating at night when you can hear the animals in close proximity but my normal torch does not light up the area in order to make a positive identification of the animal. Since I have had the SureFire G2 I have not had this problem. The G2 easily throws a sharp focused beam for the 40 meters required to light up the firebreak and we can enjoy watching the elusive Kudu's walking along amongst other sightings.

Small game viewing with SureFire G2 Nitrolons.

We were visiting some friends on a farm outside Cullinan. Our host wanted to show us the Bush Babies that have made their home in the Black Wattle forest on his property. It was already dark when we set out to see where they are nesting. Our host took along his large rechargeable spot light in order to show them off. It was about a 1km walk to the forest, and the spot light was used a few times while searching for their reflecting eyes. The nearer we got to the forest, the fainter his spotlight became, eventually dying completely as we got to the forest. My wife and I always have our SureFire G2 Nitrolons with us and took them out as his spotlight finally failed completely. The Nitrolons were switched on to everyone's amazement. They couldn't believe the amount of light produced by our tiny G2's. The Surefires saved our little expedition and we all enjoyed admiring these small creatures.
