Envy of Automotive Assembly Plant

I have used MagLite and Brinkman lights for years, thinking they were the best lights in the world. That is, until a friend turned me on the SureFire 6Z hand-held. I work in a very dark, automotive assembly plant and a good light is invaluable when trying to diagnose assembly issues and troubleshooting sheet metal-fit problems. When I got my new 6Z, I literally chucked my MagLite out the window of my truck. I am the envy of the plant with my SureFire. It is by far the best flashlight I've ever owned. Need for a dependable, high performance flashlight

I own two of your lights, a SureFire 6P and an SureFire 8AX, one or the other used every day at my job. I've worked at a power plant for 32 years and the need for a dependable, high performance flashlight is an everyday occasion for me. I've used the lights provided by my employer and several other brands trying to find one that works every time I push the button and puts out a lot of light in a small package. Always disappointed with what I ended up with, I remembered the old saying "you get what you pay for" and bought your 6P. A few years later I bought the 8AX for even more power. These lights have exceeded my expectations and with rechargeable batteries they are cheaper than the throwaways that most people buy. My story has no life or death implications, it's just a real life story about a high quality, dependable tool that serves me well day in and day out at my job. After years of using your lights I wouldn't have anything else.

No Extension Lights − Ever!

There aren’t enough words to say about the best and brightest flashlight in the world − the SureFire! And the most incredible part about the SureFire is the accuracy of the light in doing my day and night plumbing and heating repair work. Working in customers’ basements, closets, attics, under kitchen and bathroom cabinets, I never have to use an extension drop light again. I just bring along my SureFire Commander with the rechargeable batteries. The light is awesome and the batteries last FOREVER!! Thank you, SureFire, for giving me the opportunity to own by far the BEST work/tactical flashlight in the world!

Order from Chaos of Cables

My use of a SureFire is a bit off from your normal defense use. I'm employed by a high-end storage solutions provider. At our data centers, the floor is usually raised above literally tons of cable beneath − chaos! Some data centers may run up to 500 meters and not all the floor is raised due to equipment or walls.

I use a SureFire Nitrolon G2 to find or follow our cables, read labels, or “signal” the right direction to a colleague stretching a cable. The SureFire Nitrolon G2 performs well, is durable, dust resistant, and does not break, bend or get stress gaps. Most of all, YOU CAN SEE.

Opening ATMs in Texas

I use my 6P everyday as I work for Brinks ATM. I work primarily work on ATMs that are in very dark places like in bars, strip clubs, jails and various other places like that. I would be lost without my 6P. It is the greatest little light in the world.

No Black Spots in Florida’s Drainpipes

I have found that the SureFire line is the best you can find in compact flashlights. They fit in to just about any clothing pocket and are there when you need them. They fit into fanny packs for concealment. I work for the Florida Department of Transportation. I have to inspect the inside of manholes and drainpipe. I also work at night paving highways and roads. I use my SureFire 6P whenever there is not enough lighting. I have found that the sure fire provides a solid beam of light and it does not have any black spots or shadows. I never have to adjust the beam like you do with other brands. Now that I own a SureFire, I will never buy another brand of light again.

SureFire Generates Light For Power Plant

I work for a power generating company and I use my flashlight in my maintenance work. Since some of the plant is not easy to access and the lighting is not enough, a small-sized, powerful flashlight is definitely helpful in my daily work.

Family Restaurant

My family has a small restaurant and during the normal business day (from 8.30am to up to and beyond 11.00pm) I use my E1 Executive flashlight numerous times. I may have to check and see how many bottles of Pinot Noir we have left in the back corner of the dimly-lit pantry upstairs or I may have to go down into the basement (which is to say, the lightless crawlspace beneath the restaurant) to get more credit card paper for the machine and your wonderful flashlight has made those jobs much easier, not having to feel around or lug around the inconveniently large Maglight we were using. Sometimes I need to enter through the back door and, due to bad planning, we have no light switch at the bottom of the stairs, so I light the way while I race up the stairs and unlock the inner door to get to and disarm the security system in under 45 seconds. Potentially dangerous in the dark. The same goes for lighting the way when we leave at night down those precarious stairs.

Furthermore, when the restaurant closes, I use my E1 to light up an alley adjacent to our restaurant and other dark areas in which someone may be lurking. And should, heaven forbid, I need to use my pistol, a Harries grip would be a thing of simplicity.

There have been a few people who have questioned the need to carry around a flashlight, even a tiny one like the E1, but the frequency with which I use mine more than justifies the habit. And as useful as my E1 is now, I must wonder how much more enlightened I'd be with any one of your more powerful flashlights.
